Gallery Selection

Suddenly it seems so real. My gallery will be the week of April 25th, in gallery 3 of the SJSU's Art Building. Yikes!

Concept: Sliding Plates

There could be plates on a track and the motor would crank to align the right plank. There would be some sort of counter that goes with it so that it would not have to reset after each piece of toast.

BFA Initial Description

Title: Data Toast
Media: Aluminum, Food Grade silicone, Arduino micro controller, and custom code.
Description: This toaster looks at the intersection of data and daily life. My toaster uses an ethernet connection to retrieve information for the internet about the local weather. The toaster will then use some mechanism to "print" the data onto the toast.
